CYP Ambassadors Mission to Russia explores the re-emergence of Judaism in Russia today. By meeting the local leaders, their communities and seeing the vibrant Jewish community today, ambassadors get a glimpse into the makings of true Jewish leadership.
Together with fellow ambassadors gain inspiration and skills to develop actionable plans of change in your local Jewish community.
02 The Mission
An exclusive six-day trip to S. Petersburg and Moscow. Experience firsthand the pulse of Jewish life beating in this enigmatic country. Meet the activists who effected a thriving revolution of Jewish life in Russia.
03 Action
Implement your new leadership skills and inspiration. You and your fellow CYP Ambassador committee members will brainstorm and launch new programs that fit local community needs. Host Shabbat meals and be a welcoming guide in your CYP community.
01 Education
Includes classes exploring the role of leadership in Judaism and round-table sessions with prominent local and global influencers.
Eligibility
Qualifications:

Jewish, regardless of affiliation

25-35 years old

Currently employed on a career track

Active member of a local CYP chapter

Solution-oriented, positive thinker

Passionate about creating a sustainable Jewish community

Has recruited volunteers or raised funds for a non-profit cause

Has held a past or current leadership role in business or community service
Participants are nominated by their local CYP chapter and are selected by the Ambassador Fellowship Leadership Board.
Cost
The subsidized cost of the Ambassadors Program is $995 USD + flights (The full price is $4,000).
This includes the full Mission trip experience. Airfare, accommodations, and catered meals are included while attending the Mission.
